“Liza led a Laughter Yoga session for our 13-person team. What a fun bonding experience! I was nervous about sharing the experience with my co-workers — I mean, laughing big laughs on purpose?! – and it turned out to be wonderful! Liza’s instruction with quick scenarios and varying laughter yoga exercises helped us relax and get into it. Such camaraderie and hilarity ensued, and we left feeling refreshed and connected to one another and our workplace. That was exactly the point! Thanks again to Liza and we look forward to having her back again soon.”

“Before laughter yoga, if you asked me for a list of factors that go into health and well being in general and successful sports performance in particular, I would have named of course, proper training, nutrition, strength, flexibility, and so on, but after watching my athletes laugh, I was reminded of several other vital ingredients, the first of which is simple laughter. Perhaps we take it for granted or forget about it completely, but spending time together in laughter elicited fun, ease, relaxation, enjoyment, team bonding, and breathing. These are all really key components. At our training session immediately following our class, the energy of my swimmers was up while the stress and fatigue levels seemed markedly lower. Whether we are in training or at a big meet, I will remember the beauty of laughter and it’s incredible potential to bring my team together, relax each individual, and help athletes stay in the moment, in the present. From the beginning of a new season, through the hardest months of training, to the championships, the element of laughter brings smiles, belly breathing, and a delightful balance between relaxation and tension. Sometimes while we are focusing on outcomes, we lose sight of the process; laughter can bring us back.”

“What a riot! Liza combines her passion for life and a refreshing sense of humor to bring you a serious laughter workout–I giggled, chuckled, snorted and guffawed the whole time. I never expected to feel so relaxed by the end, but it definitely released tension and got my week off to a happy start!”

“Sunday’s Laughter Hour was awesome! Liza’s accompanying materials are extremely helpful and I can tell you that the session clearly provided me with some of the benefits listed: I certainly felt the workout of my ab muscles, I felt like I was bathed in those happy hormones, I have slept like a baby each night since Sunday, and it opened me up to a lovely new relationship – Madeleine and I will be carpooling on a regular basis. So, thanks again for this much valued work in our community!”
