After the brief meditation at the end of our laughter yoga session at the Arboretum on Sunday, May 15th, our youngest participant at 7-years-old asked the group to spend a few more minutes thinking about the meaning of life. Then he requested that we all go around the circle and share what we believe it is. It was a very profound few minutes as we took turns adding our own emphasis to his initial summary of friendship, respect for others, and doing good work as what brings meaning to life. To close, one member decided to sum it up in four words, all beginning with ‘L’. It quickly became the mantra of the practice. So here it is: THE MEANING OF LIFE IN FOUR WORDS:
